Here is a splendid 17th Century antique made during the Louis XIV period and representing a Louis XIII style cabinet boasting a stunning flame walnut veneer. This impressive piece consists of a straight façade featuring a total of 12 drawers, all contoured with ebonized veneer and highlighted with inlaid ivory borders and escutcheons, surrounding the central pair of doors revealing additional storage with 8 smaller drawers and standing on adorably sculpted barley twisted legs supported by ball feet. Note that all locks have been replaced at some point in the 19th century. Several minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there but this piece is in overall good condition for its age.
