Here is a very attractive dining table made from solid walnut by the second half of the 19th century featuring a rectangular top extendable thanks to a pair of pull out leaves located at each end and adorned with nicely turned finials. The pediment consists of an intricately accented H-shaped base adorned with acanthus pattern supporting a total of 7 boldly turned columns that provide stability and sturdiness. The sides are adorably embellished with angels and large acanthus leaves. Note several minor scratches and dents and a few water rings on the top due to the age.
