This is an elegantly simple armoire made from solid pine by the first half of the 19th century and originally coming from Aix-en-Provence (South of France.). This piece is topped by a flat molded cornice sitting upon a pair of double paneled doors revealing an efficient storage compartment with a of pair of non-adjustable shelves, all standing on a straight square legs that insure stability and sturdiness. Hardware is original but the screws holding the lock have been replaced at some point. Note that this item has been used as an entertainment center and a couple of tiny holes was made at the bottom of the interior back panel for wires. This piece is in overall good condition and for sale as is. Circa date 1840. Dimensions 77 ¾”high/ 53”wide/ 22”deep. Return to Previous Page
