Here is a stunning pair of Armchairs handcrafted from solid walnut by the end of the 19th century consisting of a tall rectangular seatback upon a large seat flanked by scrolled armrests accented with detailed acanthus pattern and supported by a triple molded type of os de mouton legs highlighted with a slightly gilded molding connected to each other by a H-shaped stretcher providing stability and sturdiness. Note that the fabric is not original and estimated to be 5 years old, it is in used condition and might need to be replaced. The wooden frame of this pair of armchairs is sturdy and in overall good condition. Some minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 48 ˝”high/ 19”seat height/ 26”wide/ 22”deep.
