This is a stunning and beautifully patinaed façade handcrafted from solid walnut during the reign of Louis XV consisting of a Chapeau de Gendarme cornice sitting upon a pair of tall arched paneled doors mounted with their original brass escutcheons and standing on a nicely scrolled apron standing on cabriole legs. The lock and the key are in original condition. Note several minor scratches and dents here and there due to the age. This piece is for sale as is. Circa date 1760. Dimensions 89”high/ 44”wide.
