This is a very nice and tall bookcase made during the reign of Napoleon III and combining mahogany and kind wood for an appealing result. The arched cartouche consists of acanthus shaped moldings surrounding flower head upon the single glass door revealing a storage compartment with adjustable shelf. Note that the glass door is missing and its replacement is included in the price. The massive pediment offers additional storage thanks to a bottom drawer.
