Here is an adorable bench made from solid walnut by the beginning of the 19th century consisting of a slightly arched ladder-back flanked by armrests and standing upon a large rush seat supported by 4 straight legs. Note that the rush seat is not original and was replaced at some point, it is estimated to be approx 50 years old and is in used condition. This piece is in overall good condition and for sale as is. This is a handsome and elegant gilded sofa made from beech wood by the second half of the 19th century and originally coming from Paris. This appealing item is consisting of arched rectangular seatback adorned with raie de cour pattern and flanked by detailed finials standing upon the wide seat flanked by padded armrests highlighted with fluted motifs, all supported by tapered fluted legs. The rectangular seat is covered with an adorable floral needlepoint, which is not original and estimated to be 5-10 years old.
